Great Watches For Small Wrists

A watch that is too large for your wrist is an eyesore. A large watch makes your arms and hands look smaller and slimmer than they actually are. After all, no man wants to look thin and delicate, right?
These modern timepieces would have been anathema to the average man 30 to 40 years ago because men wore smaller watches regardless of their wrist size. Rather than trying to keep up with trends, you should wear watches that fit your build. They should be proportionate to your wrist.
When people say “watch size”, they are referring to the case diameter. If someone says they are looking for a watch under 40 mm, they mean a watch with a case diameter less than 40 mm. The watch case size is constantly changing depending on what is popular at the time. However, the average watch case size these days seems to be around 40 mm or so.
If you don’t know if your wrists are thin, you can measure them using tailor tape. The widest point on your wrist is right over your bone. Anything below 6.5 inches is considered thin.
